- Do you love My So-Called Life? Well you’re in luck, TV Squad just added a last-minute giveaway for the complete series on DVD.
- What about Dexter? Because GMMR’s giving away season one on DVD and all you have to do to win is enter.
- Not to self-promote or anything but I’m the dork who rushed to buy one of these as soon as I added it to my “store”… is that sad? What can I say, I like sweatshirts and the beaver I ended up using is so cute I couldn’t resist the combo.
- Fans of ABC Family’s summer series, Greek, take note: Last Monday was the premiere of Rush’d, an online reality show about the six finalists from the Virtual Rush 10 Week Challenge that ran during the first 10 episodes of Greek. The second episode started this week and in it you’ll get to know each of the six finalists from watching them arrive in LA to touring their campuses and meeting their friends. Make sure to watch online!
- I forgot to talk about it last week but the History Channel’s new special, Lost Book of Nostradamus, premiered this past weekend. I don’t know if I believe in Nostradamus’ predictions but I find the history around it all fascinating. So, if you’re a history buff like me, you may enjoy it as well. I know for sure that it’ll be on again next Saturday, Nov 3, at 5PM but it’s also repeating a few times this week. Check your local listings!
- By the way, the History Channel is awesome for also bringing us The History of Halloween. Learn everything you ever wanted to know about vampire myths, pumpkins, Halloween superstitions, and more. I found this site the other day while looking for information on Lost Book of Nostradamus and literally spent over an hour exploring it.
- Remember my post about the flyers they use on set being for real Scranton businesses? Well I got an email from
Terry from Terry’s Diner (how fun is that?!) and it turns out the menu they have on the set is the actual take out menu that they hand out at the diner every day. Gotta love the authencity on that set! Too bad I couldn’t make it to the convention last weekend (make sure you check out Amrie’s wrap up of the weekend if you couldn’t make it either) because it would have been fun to try out those various restuarants in person and ssee if the other menus are real too! - How much fun must it be on this set every day? I can’t decide who I love more… Anders or Grunnie.
- Before I wrap this up, a quick CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Otisha Murff for winning the Lincoln Heights signed script giveaway that ended last Friday. Thanks to the folks over at Seat42f for their help with this one and don’t forget to keep watching season two of Lincoln Heights on ABC Family.
- I started with giveaways so I’ll end with one of our very own: There’s still time to enter to win Run’s House Season 1 & 2 on DVD!

OMG I LOVE that sweatshirt! I’ve been wanting to make one of those myself, after seeing that episode, because it’s so hilarious!

Thanks! Yes, I’ve been meaning to make it ever since the episode but it took me awhile to figure out how I wanted it to look.
