- RIP 2007 and all of the TV characters (and shows) who didn’t make it to 2008. Head over to TiFaux and mourn the dead with their list of the top 5 and bottom 5 televisions deaths of 2007.
- Hurry! Glarkware has brought back the fabulous Sparkles Mall Tour t-shirt but only for January. I put off getting it when it was first available until it was too late so I’m glad I’m getting a second chance to buy one.
- Thinking of taking a trip soon? Why don’t you Fly Oceanic Air!
- I suppose I should encourage you to watch the 24 hour free online viewing of the pilot of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles or even the online sneak peek of the season 5 premiere of The L Word. Instead, I suggest checking out Why We Write, a series of essays by TV and Film writers. Today’s essay is from Katherine Fugate who created of one of my new favorite summers shows, Army Wives, and yesterday’s essay was from Damon Lindelof.
- Speaking of the Strike, are you needing something to help get you through the TV drought? Check out Alan Sepinwall’s Strike Survival TV Club, a look back at great and underappreciated series from the past. The first series he’s covering is Cupid which most of you know is one of my all time favorite shows. Today he talks in depth about the pilot and it’s a great read.
- Or you could join Kath over at GMMR in discovering a series you’ve always wanted to watch but never had the time to spare. She’s finally giving Buffy the Vampire Slayer a chance to win her heart. About time since she’s already done what every Buffy fan dreams of… met and spoken to Joss himself.
- Nathan Fillion will be attending the FX Show in Orlando, January 25-27, along with Greg Grunberg and Nicholas Brendon. Of course there are a bunch of other guests as well but those are the ones that I’m excited about.
- Need a trivia break? See how well you know your TV Trivia of the 90s! How about the 80s or the 70s?

Dear Ms. Whore -
Sorry, I have no idea what your name is but I thank you very much for giving our little project some attention on your blog. This is the first time I’ve seen it (a reflection on my technologically impaired lifestyle, not your website) but it’s terrific! I’m learning so much about the blogosphere through our Why We Write campaign, although my partner Charlie Craig is the true tech talent that got our site up and running.
Would you be willing to set up a link to our site from yours? I know your readers would benefit from these inspiring essays each day and if you could direct them to us we’d really appreciate it. We’re totally non-profit and no one gets anything from appearing on our site, just the good will of being able to give something back to a community that is in crisis right now.
Thanks for considering us, let us know if you want us to send you our link directly. UnitedHollywood.com has it up, you can check it out there and see if you can do the same.
