I still think editing might not necessarily be a bad thing, if only to expose the show to a wider audience. I found Dexter wonderful, engaging and fascinating. I have no desire to watch a chopped up, edited version of it. Hopefully it will be good for Michael C. Hall because as you say, he is amazing in this. But my advice is also to rent the original. (I'm now trying to imagine Deadwood cut up for network tv and giggling hysterically) Oh I so agree.
