This one is GMMR’s fault. She’s speeding through Buffy for the first time ever (and loving it!) and she got to season 5 today. Unlike others, I loved “Buffy vs. Dracula” and this moment is just one of the many reasons:
XANDER: Where is he?? Where’s the creep that turned me into his spider-eating man-bitch?
BUFFY: He’s gone.
XANDER: Dammit! You know what? I’m sick of this crap. I’m sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it’s over. I’m finished being everybody’s butt-monkey!
BUFFY: Check. No more butt-monkey.

Jo: I know, that’s why I love ya! I can be shallow too and admit that I partly love this episode for the way SMG looks in it. What?? Is that wrong?

I use the phrase Butt-monkey all the time. I love this phrase.
