USA NETWORK’s hit series Burn Notice returns in just one week on Thursday, July 10th at 10pm/9c. Why was Michael Westen burned? And what’s he gonna do about it? The answers every Burn Notice fan wants begin to take shape with the Season Two premiere. The new season also welcomes Battlestar Galatica’s Tricia Helfer as well as existing cast Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless. What a great contest.
It is ridiulous how excited I am to see Burn Notice back on air! I’m not kidding when I say it’s the only show I actually see every episode of anymore; I’ve always been a fan of the spy genre, and Burn Notice strikes the perfect blend of dry humor, action and semi-ambiguous morality. I like that the recurring cast is small enough so that you get a deeper sense of the character dynamics.
Awesome show! Total blast to watch. Can’t wait for the new season to start.

Well, I never win anything, but there’s always a first time, right? I do like Burn Notice. It’s a truly original approach to the genre with an appealing cast; I also appreciate a show that assumes its viewers are intelligent in the current morass of reality dreck. And this site’s coverage of Burn Notice and Psych has been very enjoyable to read-far more interesting than the articles on TV Guide or e!.

Vanessa: Aww! That’s one of the nicest compliments I’ve ever gotten! I’m glad you’re finding the BN/Psych stuff interesting! Of course, I think it’s probably more what I got to do that makes it interesting rather than the writing.
Catalyst: I believe it’s this book
which is in the same vein as other TV Show fiction. It’s basically a story similar to what you’d see on the show in book format. One of the USA folks mentioned it to me during my set visit as something I might want to check out but it was after our time with Matt Nix so I don’t know how much he knows about it or how involved he is with that kind of material. I’d be interested to see what people think of it – so whoever wins should check back in after they’ve received their prize and let me know if they like the book!

I have only seen a couple of episodes and the show is much better than I expected from initial previews. (I love the new, current previews). It is full of action, funny, and has a storyline that is easy to follow. I would like to see it from start to finish as I started watching later in the season. Please enter me into the draw!

I love this show! My in-laws were in town for the season premiere (they’re from Canada and don’t get it with their cable) and they loved it too–would be great to be able to share the first season with them easily!
OUTSTANDING SHOW. The best show I’ve seen in a VERY long time. I’m just sad that I missed the first season. Hopefully, I will win and get to see it. If not I’ll be spending the money on it.
