First, to all you USA folks, Happy 4th of July!! I hope everyone enjoys their day. I myself will taking part in the annual Orlando 5K Watermelon Run in the morning and then cooking out with friends in the afternoon. Should be a good day.
Today’s Friday Fun item is a new game we’re calling TV Trios. It’s basically just like the game TriBond, where you are given three things and you have to figure out what they have in common. In our game, the three thing are all TV-related items. So, for instance, if you were given: A Different World, Fraiser, and Joey. The correct answer would be: TV shows that were spinoffs.
Pretty simple, right? Ok, here are your three TV trios for today:

- Duck

- Alyson Hannigan
- Swoosie Kurtz
- Supernatural

- Kyle XY

Well I’m pretty much stumped. Is the answer to the first one names of the pets on Friends?
Yep! Or, even more simply, just pets on the Friends.
Here’s a hint on the other two…
The second trio is something characters they’ve played have in common.
The third is all about location.
Well, I’ll say that Supernatural, Psych and Kyle XY are shows filmed in Canada. More specifically Vancouver?
As for the second trio, Swoosie Kurtz is tripping me up. As for the other two, I’ll say best friends to a girl with major skills.
I’ll take a guess at the second trio. Amanda, Alyson and Swoosie have all played characters called Lilly/Lily (depending on the spelling).
Dee, yep, you got it on the last one and Steph got the third one right. They all play(ed) characters named Lily.

Ooh, good one Dee. Off the top of my head, I’m going to guess that it has something to do their musical/theater background but I might have to cheat to find out exactly what it is.

Dee, is it that they have all won Tony Awards before working in TV? Or something more specific?
Pretty much. They’re all TV stars who’ve won Tony Awards. David won his after Frasier, and Sara and Kristin won their respective awards before doing their current shows.
