Oh, who am I kidding?! I totally love to brag, especially when it’s not about me! In this case it’s about my big sis or one of them at least. And since it involves an Army Wives sponsored contest, it even relates back to TV. Ha.

Seriously, YourMilitaryBlog.com had a “Tell-Your-Own-Story” essay contest sponsoered by YourMilitary.com. Lifetime TV, YourMilitary.com and Author Phyllis Zimbler Miller in support of the 2nd season of Army Wives which I am watching despite being a few weeks behind on it. I know, I know, I need to get caught up on my shows! Trust me, you aren’t the only one thinking it. Mo gets annoyed every time she wants to talk to me about the show and finds out I’m still not caught up.

My sis is one of the 5 grand prize winners! She’s Rose, the very first winner listed on the list. Nice! My fams… we’re good with the keyboard. If you enjoy Army Wives, I think you’ll probably enjoy reading not only my sister’s essay but all of the winning essays shared on that page. It’s no lie that one of the reasons I enjoy the show so much is because it reminds me of the world in which I grew up. The essays everyone wrote do the same so check ‘em out.
