That’s right, Fall TV is here again! From now until all of the shows have returned for the season, we’ll be shining the premiere spotlight on any shows premiering that day. So get your DVRs ready and let’s go!
Four shows premiere tonight, three returning, one new. Here’s a break down of each, listed by start time, including episode description and promo photo.

Gossip Girl @ 8PM (CW)
When we last checked in with the Upper East Siders it looked like Dan & Vanessa were in for a hot summer in the city, Serena & Nate were going to be chillin’ in the Hamptons, while Blair and Chuck were jetting to Tuscany. Or not. Find out how it all really went down tonight when the show returns with a jam packed hour: As the summer draws to a close in the Hamptons, Serena and Nate have everyone fooled into thinking they are a couple to cover up the fact that Nate has been hooking up with a married older woman and Serena has been secretly mourning her break-up with Dan. Blair returns from abroad with a hot guy on her arm, making a very jealous Chuck question his decision to leave Blair stranded at the heliport. Dan has spent the summer assisting a famous author, but decides to head to the Hamptons to see how things stand with Serena after a summer spent apart. While interning for Eleanor Waldorf’s company, Jenny sneaks an invite to a much-coveted Hamptons’ White Party at which Eric introduces her to socialite Tinsley Mortimer.

Prison Break @ 8PM (FOX)
You know, if I was Gretchen and I knew Michael was out of prison? I’d be making myself scarce and erasing every trail I’d ever made. This is just a shot in the dark but I’m guessing he won’t settle for anything less than seeing her suffer the same fate she dealt to Sara. Of course, I don’t think there’s anyone on the planet who hasn’t heard that Linc might have been wrong about just whose head was in that box. Should be interesting to see how the writers explain that! Also, T-Bag is never going to die is he? I don’t think there’s ever been a character I hate as much as this guy. I’m not kidding when I say I’d like to see his head, heck his whole body, show up in a box this season. Can we make that happen? Anyway, here’s what the first two hours of season four will be full of: Michael is in L.A., looking to even the score with Gretchen for Sara’s death, while Gretchen, Whistler and Mahone go about Company business. And in Panama, Sona has burned to the ground, with T-Bag, Bellick and Sucre unaccounted for. Meanwhile, Lincoln, LJ and Sofia are settling in as a family.

One Tree Hill @ 9PM (CW)
Our last glimpse of Lucas had him asking someone to run away to Vegas with him… tonight we finally found out whether it was Lindsey, Brooke, or Peyton on the other end of that call. And, honestly, that’s about the only reason I’ll be watching. But, for those of you who still can’t get enough of the crazy antics of the folks in Tree Hill, here’s what you can expect to happen on the first part of the season six premiere: Lucas’ chosen lady meets him at the airport, while Dan’s accident proves life-threatening. Elsewhere, Nathan’s comeback hits a bump; Mouth and Millicent consider leaving town; and Brooke and her mother clash over Brooke’s company once again.

Raising the Bar @ 10PM (TNT)
This brand new series from Executive Producer Steven Bochco follows the lives of young lawyers who work on opposite sides – the public defender’s office and the district attorney’s office – as well as those who sit in judgment on their cases. I’ve seen the first three episodes and, despite the not-so-stellar things most critics have had to say, I didn’t think they were that bad. The first episode is, admittedly, far too pedantic to be gripping. And, more importantly, Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s long scraggly (and greasy looking!) hair had me itching for the judge to throw a pair of scissors at his head rather than the book. But maybe it grows on ya (heh) because it didn’t bother me nearly as much in the second and third episodes. Plus, once the introductions were out of the way, I was way more interested in what each of these characters were doing. In fact, so much so that I’ll be sticking around for a few more episodes before deciding if it belongs on my permanent schedule. So, if you give it a try and aren’t wowed by tonight’s premiere, I suggest you give at least two weeks and see if you don’t feel the same. Here’s what’ll be happening tonight: We are introduced to public defender Jerry Kellerman, whose passion and energy for defending his clients occasionally leads him to question the justice system. While defending a man he is certain is innocent, Jerry struggles to navigate the system while remaining humble in front of a judge who despises him. Meanwhile, in the district attorney’s office, Michelle tries to right a wrong in a rape trial but runs up against her boss, who doesn’t want the DA’s office to be embarrassed by winning a wrongful conviction.

[...] Then there’s Bill and I think I might be in a very small minority here but I don’t find the man attractive at all. And maybe the actor is attractive outside this role, I don’t know. All I can judge is the person I saw on screen and he skeeves me out. He generally looks unkempt with the greasy looking hair and whatnot. What can I say, it turns me off. (See my similar issues with Mark-Paul’s hair in Raising the Bar.) [...]
