Premiere Spotlight: ‘Til Death & Do Not Disturb    Print Print

This will be the last spotlight for the week as I’m limiting myself to only a select few reality premieres and I’ll be at a two-day conference as of Friday morning. That said, head’s up to those who are interested in Hole in the Wall (Fox), Kitchen Nightmares (Fox), Don’t Forget the Lyrics! (Fox), Mad TV (Fox), and Saturday Night Live (NBC). All of which are premiering over the next few days.

And now on to tonight’s FOX premieres…

‘Til Death @ 9PM (FOX)
Joy (Joely Fisher, R) takes Eddie (Brad Garrett, C) shopping for new bras on TIL DEATH. (c)2008 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Michael Desmond/FOXI don’t watch this show and, honestly, I don’t think I know anyone who does. It’s in its third season, though, so I assume someone out there must be watching! Here’s what ‘Til Death fans can expect tonight: Joy gets a speeding ticket in the third-season opener, and she surmises that the reason is because she doesn’t look sexy anymore. So she drags Eddie to a lingerie shop so she can get new bras.

Do Not Disturb @ 9:30PM (FOX)
Neal (Jerry O\'Connell, R) discusses sexual behavior between employees with Rhonda (Niecy Nash, L) on DO NOT DISTURB. (c)2008 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Ray Mickshaw/FOXI know most people know (and apparently dislike) Niecy from her work on Reno 911! but I know her as the person who makes everyone throw away their prized possessions junk on Clean House and I kinda like her. Or maybe I just wish she’d show up at my place and cure me of my knickknack hoarding ways. Either way, I’m not nearly as down on this new sitcom as everyone else. I didn’t love the pilot by any means but neither did I think it’s as horrible as everyone else does. Then again, I do seem to laugh at all the sitcoms the online and critics find unfunny and remain unmoved by those they find hilarious. Point being, I’m keeping an open mind about this show and I’ll be checking it out tonight to see if I still find it worth my time. In tonight’s episode, the staff of a hip New York City hotel called the Inn get into trouble for their on-the-job promiscuity. HR rep Rhonda tries to put a stop to their behavior, especially that of general manager Neal. But then Rhonda finds herself tempted to engage in the same unprofessional conduct.
