I love me a holiday episode. I probably love the holiday episodes more than the actual holidays themselves. And since Halloween is my favorite of all the holidays, what other Top 5 could there be for the week of Halloween?
Top 5 Halloween Costumes on TV
Castle as Captain Mal (aka a Space Cowboy) – Castle 2-06: C’mon. Like you didn’t know that was going to top this list?- Sarah as Princess Lea – Chuck 1-06: Only someone that hot can pull this outfit off. And she did it to make Chuck happy. Aww.
- Ghost Willow – Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2-06One of our first glimpses of Willow coming out of her shell. In the words of Oz: “Who IS that girl?”
- Phoebe, Piper and Prue as witches – Charmed 3-04: The witches dressed as witches made me laugh. Plus, they were gorgeous costumes!
- Donna the Mermaid – Beverly Hills 90210 2-13: This stands as one of the worst, yet funniest, and most elaborate Halloween costumes on TV.

I love all of those! I need to think about this some more because things are running together in my head. I love the costumes on the Two Guys, A Girl, & A Pizza Place Halloween episode, “Halloween 2: Mind Over Body.” No surprise, another episode with Fillion in a costume!
I love all of those except the 90210 which I haven’t seen. The Charmed witches costumes were so pretty. But NF as Captain Mal just rules.
I have a soft spot for Oz as “God”. Love it.
