In honor of Thanksgiving this week’s TV Top 5 is a list of my favorite turkey dinners!
I’d honestly love to be able to sit at any one of the fine tables that have appeared in the episodes listed below. Although… I probably wouldn’t want to be sitting too close to Barney Stinson, and I don’t know if I could actually do four turkey dinners in one day like those Gilmore Girls!
Top 5 TV Turkey Dinners
1. Slapsgiving – HIMYM 3-09
2. The One With The Rumor – Friends 8-09
3. Chuck vs the Nemesis – Chuck1-10
4. A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving – Gilmore Girls 3-09
5. Pangs – Buffy the Vampire Slayer 4-08
So, what are some of your favorite TV Turkey dinners?

I love that you posted this because I was just thinking about TV Thanksgivings in the shower this morning and how weird it is that the one I always think about at this time of year is Episode 1×09 of Felicity, “Thanksgiving.” Something about everyone just sort of congregating in the dorm. Or, ya know, Felicity and Noel making out in the bathroom.
Awww. I love that one too!
I was also thinking about including the DC one where they all end up around the bonfire after dinner.
Friends: The One Where Ross Got High (6×09)
The scene where everyone sits around confessing and/or tattling is hysterical:
Monica: And Dad, you know that mailman that you got fired? He didn’t steal your Playboys! Ross did!
Ross: Yeah, well, Hurricane Gloria didn’t break the porch swing, Monica did!
Monica: Ross hasn’t worked at the museum for a year!
Ross: Monica and Chandler are living together!
Monica: Ross married Rachel in Vegas! And got divorced! Again!
Phoebe: I love Jacques Cousteau!
Rachel: I wasn’t supposed to put beef in the trifle!
Joey: I wanna goooo!
Judy: That’s a lot of information to get in 30 seconds.
And Ross says Rachel’s trifle/shepherd’s pie “tastes like feet”. Oh, nice trip down memory lane.
I actually had a hard time choosing between all the really great Friends T-day episodes! Just reading that convo above has me laughing. But it was Joey’s “turkey pants” along with Brad Pitt’s hilarious turn as a guest star that made The One with the Rumor the winner for me.
